The Village of Rochester Hills will be Aglow for Light the Village
The secret is out ... the 15th Annual Light the Village is on November 18, 2016. This holiday tradition hosted by the Village of Rochester Hills brings the community of Rochester Hills and the surrounding neighborhoods together for an evening of tradition and "plain-ole" fun! It's about giving back to the community and celebrating the start of the holiday season. It's an evening for families and friends to come together and experience TRADITION; the tradition of music and entertainment, the tradition of a festive light display, the tradition of Santa and the tradition of family and friends gathered for a community purpose.
"After 15 years of tradition, the Village continues to add features to the Light the Village event to keep our community excited about coming," states Marketing Director, Shelleen McHale. The City of Rochester Hills brought us an amazing light show last year, and it will be the highlight of the 2016 event along with the lighting of our Village. In addition to lighting the Village with over 800,000 lights, which includes the 25 foot Christmas tree, the sky will once again be eluminated by fireworks and music.
